Well, i got haule dinto a meeting at work with the Director of IT and the IT Security manager, and now I need to build a new DMZ to put our hosts on the inside that are getting forwarded traffic to 443 into their own DMZ.

Fun stuff! Of course with the bandwidth i need, i am going to buy a couple PIX 535 units, two Nortel Alteon 2424's and Two Nortel 5510 10/100/1000 units.

So far my total is running about $100,000 and I havent even laid out a damn design...man i love it when i get a blank check. :)

A cool side benefit is I am going to get to take home a Cisco IDS and a Cisco 525 Pix. :D

Can't beat free stuff, but in this case I'd make an exception. I'd beat it with something big and heavy. :p

Or play with the box a bit to see if I could install something decent on it. :D
