I plan on building a computer (needs to have a small footprint) for my tv that will be able to play DVDs, DiVX, mp3s, and play SNES/NES/Genesis/Etc. games on it. I looked into the VIA Mini-ITX motherboard and it was almost exactly what I needed except the CPU wasn't powerful enough to play DVDs. I'm trying to find an FV24 or similar motherboard that has TVout, sound, and lan built in for under $150. Doesn't have to have the CPU built in, but thats a plus. Any ideas, or links to similar projects?
 
Same here lol, I remember we had our computer hooked up to our TV so we could watch dvds on our tv.🙂 aaah good times
