I could write an entire article about tuners and the different kinds to use.

Vista Ultimate is overkill for a Media Center. Home Premium is fine.

LOL too true... especially if you are considering Linux as the OS.

Very true and something I will add - easy to forget when you have an MS subscriptions coming out of your ass and thus always use Ultimate for builds :)

Nice writeup, I'm looking forward to the next installment.

You might want to toss in a mention of the Antec NSK2400 as an alternative chassis. It has the same internal design as the Fusion, but costs half as much. The drawbacks are largely cosmetic:
- 380w instead of 430w PSU
- only one color scheme (black w/silver bezel)
- plastic bezel instead of aluminum
- no volume knob
- no programmable display
- no drive door stealth cover

Yeah I think I saw that and will add some more choices perhaps as alternatives... a bit more about pricing too perhaps.

Unfortunately I know have all the components except the case. It was supposed to be 'Next day' delivery but has been sent by road from england to sweden.............

I looking at friday at the earliest, worst case early next week :(
