Building a Media Center / HTPC - Guide

Just to let you know I am writing a guide to building an HTPC. Part one is up, any advice/comments more than welcome

LOL too true... especially if you are considering Linux as the OS.

Very true and something I will add - easy to forget when you have an MS subscriptions coming out of your ass and thus always use Ultimate for builds

Nice writeup, I'm looking forward to the next installment.

You might want to toss in a mention of the Antec NSK2400 as an alternative chassis. It has the same internal design as the Fusion, but costs half as much. The drawbacks are largely cosmetic:
- 380w instead of 430w PSU
- only one color scheme (black w/silver bezel)
- plastic bezel instead of aluminum
- no volume knob
- no programmable display
- no drive door stealth cover

Yeah I think I saw that and will add some more choices perhaps as alternatives... a bit more about pricing too perhaps.

Unfortunately I know have all the components except the case. It was supposed to be 'Next day' delivery but has been sent by road from england to sweden.............

I looking at friday at the earliest, worst case early next week
