Building a Laptop

do they even sell a empty case for a laptop, never seen one. you also have to get a mb to fit inside that case.. could be a headache.
 
Def not worth it. IMO laptops are portable computers that allow you to surf the web/type up papers/etc when your away from home. You can't really get a lightweight laptop that has awesome battery life and good specs when you build.
 
Not at this point, it's not worth it. There is a very few choices of parts you can put together. In addition, the mobile cpu world is still very fluid. The cost of high end CPU in the mobile world is still very expensive when bought by individuals. You'll be better off buying end market laptop for the meantime. When choices become abundant then maybe building laptop will become the same level as building desktop.
