building a home theatre from scratch need some help about speakers

I need some nfo on recievers and speakers and ceilling hangers and all.
I need to know how much juice I need to get to the speakers that are in the ceilling

Did you take a look at my general thread that's stickied?

Does "ceiling hangers" mean in-ceiling speakers, or just mounts for regular speakers that you'll attach to walls / ceilings?

A budget would really help us give you advice that's applicable to your actual situation along with more info about what your personal priorities are.

onkyo...or w/e...has a decently cheap 7.1 system that sounds nice...pretty sure it comes with all mounting hardware

Mine didn't, came with all the speaker wire though, if that matters
