Building a Hackintosh for OSX 10.6, suggestions on a motherboard?

I am building my hackinstosh computer with what hardware I have right now. I figure my 9800gt should do fine and my E2180, now all I need is a good motherboard. I want something less then a hundred dollars then a hundred dollars that supports wake, sleep, and is stable. No gremlins. If the on board audio or ethernet doesn't work I will just buy two compatible cards. I looked at the OSX wiki page and the list is bare, if anybody is running the latest version of OSX on their hackintosh or knows of a board that has been working for most people please let me know.

Ask the forums at OSx86 project. They're big hackintosh nerds and will know the answers better than most of the people here.

Seems the best are Gigabyte EP-45 UDXX boards. As philosofool said, checkout OSx86 project and the forums at InsanelyMac.com

Have fun! And good luck...

I have a Gigabyte P35 board (Something-E3SL) that I got from ebay for like $60. Everything worked out of the box without any tampering (I did install the R1000 'driver' that gives me full giagbit on my onboard port), it supports 45nm processors, but it is 2 gens old since it is P35.

The P45-UD3P on newegg is about $120 after rebate (so $140 I think before) that has 2 PCIe, 8 SATA (I think), onboard firewire, dual onboard gigabit, and many other cool things, and works 100% out of the box.

Definitely check out the hackintosh threads in the All Things Apple forum, good 'local' resource with lots of knowledgable people. You will want to check to make sure that your 9800gt works in OS X. I think that it does, but you will want to double check.
