Building a gaming PC for my girlfriend, looking for a pink, purple case with good airflow.

It's me again!

Like I said in the title, I'm building a brand new gaming PC for my girlfriend and I want something nice. She's a girl so I want something purple or pink and with good airflow in it. I searched on Newegg but didn't got many choices.. Hope someone can help me on this! 🙂

Get a good case and paint it yourself? Maybe you could get a custom case the manufacturer will do paint job for you, but I doubt it will be anywhere near cheap.

Never thought about painting it myself, I'll check out some more website. Any other website I can check? I got Newegg and NCIX.

Check out NZXT. They've got some amazing white and purple options.

Yeah, there's also a Bitfenix one with a purple front. Few or no full purple ones, though Bitfenix and Raijintek have some nice options in other colors for their mini and micro ATX cases (I like blue, myself).

Apevia makes some pink cases, but I don't like any of them.

EDIT: The X-Mirage looks decent, actually.

Just to check, is it you or her who is most set on having it purple or pink? Far from all women prefer (or even like) those colours, after all.

As for suggestions: NZXT has already been brought up, they're probably your best bet for reasonably standard ATX cases. BitFenix has a heap of colour options for their Prodigy, as well as some other cases with some funky colours. Jonsbo has a pink one too.

Does your girlfriend like the colours pink and purple? Does she own pink or purple accessories or clothes? Does she make buying decisions based on colours?

You could also go for a black case with coloured LEDs inside.

Yes she own some pink clothes, but what I could do is to get a white case and get some purple fans or something like that.

A white case that has tempered glass side and/or front would look nice. If you get an RGB LED strip (Aura compatible ones work best since it will be software controllable - and remote is often included, too - but be sure to get a motherboard that has the Aura/RGB header) you can set the interior to whatever color she wants, down to the shade.

Anidees or Corsair Crystal (that comes with RGB fans) would be perfect, since they can showcase RGB or set purple (Corsair has nice purple ones) fans up front, too.

Yeah I like that style, I will check this out! Thank you @Crono 😀

Yes she own some pink clothes
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but if that's the extent of your grasp of her aesthetic taste, I would ask her directly. If it's meant as a surprise, be just a bit clever about it - discuss PCs you think look cool with her, that kind of thing. I would barely call what you said there sufficient grounds to buy her another pink garment, let alone a PC that she'll most likely be using every day for several years.

Yeah definitly, I will check out some build with her and talk about it without saying I want to build her a PC. Good idea, thank you sir!
