Wish I had know about this a couple of days earlier... just got an 8 port netgear FS108 switch for my new computer room.

I broke down and ordered a pair. My four port router, eight port switch and five port switch are about full.
Now i will have room to UPGRADE and knock out a few more blocks for TACube and Team Anandtech.

Time to reach for the plastic, my 5 port hub and 4 port switch have one open port left between them and this seems like a heck of a deal considering a gave just a bit more than that for a Netgear 16 port a couple of weeks ago to put in small office network job I did. I think I'll just use one and hopefully have a job come up soon to use the other.

Anybody get this yet? My order still says &quot;sent to warehouse&quot;, and when I asked what was going on, the eMail I got said it was backordered. One of the members of my BBS got ONE switch delivered.

Am I going to have to become a Wounded Switch Child?😉

Don't feel bad Russ! Mine still says &quot;Sent To Warhouse&quot; too. Not that I need two rack mountable switches, but what the heck! At that price you can't go wrong.

I just got one delivered yesterday. Emailed buy.com and they assured me they will ship out the other one by the 16th. Or so they say. Even if they do not, it is not a bad price for a single 16 port switch. Still hoping for the free one to arrive.
