I'm building a new computer, and here I'm going to list links to what I have selected so far, as I'm 80% sure that they're compatible with eachother. I don't consider myself computer savvy so I'm begging for some help in being completely sure in this.

Also, for the mobo I chose, I'm wondering if I should get something better with more PCI slots - it only has one. I might go dual 8800GTXs too - would the 700w power supply be able to handle it all?

Here it is:

I am grateful for ANY advice anyone can offer whether it be regarding something I should upgrade or something I did wrong.

Hi & Welcome to the Forums!

As far as compatibility - looks OK to me. I did note that thatgfx card needs an empty slot next to the pci-e 16x used by the card. I can't tell if there's enough room on the mobo though.

I can't speak to the question of whether something s/b upgraded. So, this will serve as a bump for other comments.

Good Luck with it.

Looks like a good system. I am not so sure though that buying an AMD is a good idea. They are supposed to be coming out with new chips soon. Core 2's are the best out there right now.
I like the Antec 900 case better (i have had multiples of both cases).
Maybe a Samsung drive? I recomend them (Or SATA style)

I still suggest going with a core 2.
this CPU or This CPU Both i think are better than the amd and very overclockable.
and
this Board. EVGA got their crap worked out and the new revisions are doing well. I have worked with 6 of these boards and they are great. People have had problems with them, but i havent.

Everything else you have looks good. Although i would suggest getting the OCz Platinum XTC memory from Outpost.com its $140 shipped fo 2x1gb kit ddr2 800 Found Here
