started my project tonight.

3/12/03: Did the base tonight. drilled 8 holes for mobo standoff. everything was cool until I tried to install the 6th standoff. I guess the hole wasn't deep enough, the standoff snapped in two. half of it is stuck in the acrylic. DOH! oh well, threw on some silcone and pray that it does the job.

lesson learned? drill deep and less torque.
 
actually, metal standoffs. and nope, didn't tap it. didn't wanna spend more money on stuff I'll probably use only once.
