Hello,

I am building my first system in years and I have some questions. I just picked up a DS3 motherboard and a E6400 C2D. My question is the following. I am an avid gamer and I plan on doing some overclocking in the future with the C2D. Is there a better motherboard on the market for gaming, that overclocks well, or is the DS3 a good board to stick with. Lastly, I don't know know anything about memory. Whats a excellent memory for gaming and will alow me to OC. Thanks you.

that board is pretty much the best overclocker around. it is pretty finicky about memory, so don't get OCZ memory (i had to RMA mine). I just ordered Corsair XMS modules from zipzoomfly. a 2GB kit of DDR2-800 was $175 after rebate.

So basically stick with what I have, pick up some corsair memory, and powerhouse video card. Then call it a day.
