Building a budget Ryzen 7 Gaming Rig

I was thinking about building myself a Ryzen 7 based gaming rig. I'm shooting for something that can run any game I throw at it on a 1440p monitor (that I already have) with maximum settings.

I'm also shooting for a $1,000 budget. I have some Amazon.com gift cards, so I picked that site for purchasing my parts.

Here is my parts list so far. Am I missing anything?

Looks fine to me and should be able to handle 1440p. However max settings will depend on the game in question.

DON'T get a B350 board, UNLESS you have another 1st-Gen Ryzen CPU (borrowed from another system, perhaps) to use to flash the BIOS/UEFI on that board up to the newest version, before dropping in a 2nd-Gen Ryzen CPU.

MUCH better off getting the B450 Tomahawk board, for $10-15 more. (It's been $110-115 on Newegg at times. Often OOS though.)

Edit: OR you might be stuck, and the board might not even boot. That's what happened when I tried to boot some of my older B350 and A320 boards, with a 2200G, before the BIOS/UEFI has been flashed to newest.

Edit: Also, if you "care" about activating Win10, consider getting a key off of Bonanza for $10-20, instead of paying full price. (And even if you do want to pay full price, wait until Newegg puts it on sale for $100, don't pay $130 to Amazon.)

Edit: My friend has the B450 Tomahawk board, with a 2200G in it. It's fairly highly recommended. (Both B350 and B450 Tomahawk are, but the B450 is newer and arguably better, and more compatible out-of-the-box with 2nd-Gen Ryzen CPUs and APUs.)

Here is my suggestion: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M8nvr6

Remove one of the memory kits. The G.Skill kit has the Tomahawk motherboard on QVL, the Team kit might need to be clocked down to 3000 or 2933, or it might work at 3200. Slight gamble but great value.

B450 Tomahawk is really good. VRM is equivalent to some X470 boards, you shouldn't have any issue running an overclocked 8core on it.

This Seasonic PSU is really good, gold rated and 10 year warranty.

That Corsair - 270R case is slick. I like it!
