Building a budget pc, need recommendations.

Im looking to spend as little as possible for a decent system.

So far looking at a Pentium D 805 which will run around $100.

Whats a good cheap mobo, are those ASRock ones any good? What model?

Not really sure what ram to get, DDR2 533? What brand, want 1 gig.

I might just go with integrated video, if not are the 7300GS or 7600GS any good?

Already have a case/psu/etc...computer is for my sister, mostly internet, maybe some games, nothing intensive.

Used Venice 3200+ are selling for very low prices because everyone seems to want the x2 3800+.

And probably can get 2 x 256 DDR compatible with this mobo very cheap (Winbond CH-5 or even BH-5, because it's 2 x 256 rather than more desireable 2 x 512 can probably also be bought cheap used).



EDIT: system has no video or northbrige fan and draws very little power (about 60W idle; 60 -80 W during general purpose computing and peaks out around 95 W).

Dont work...

go to newegg.com and type in the last string of N82E1.. numbers in the search and you will get the items.

I would say stick with a AMD Sock 939 or 734, the prices are super cheap.

newegg.com may have a deal for a 734 cpu + mobo for 100$!
