Building a budget computer

Hey guys, i'm looking at building a very budget computer right now. I don't need any other optical drives, kb/mouse, os, etc..just what is listed here. Please critique/give suggestions/whatever 🙂

Case-ANTEC SLK1650B (BLACK) MID TOWER W/SMART POWER 350W ATX POWER SUPPLY=$59

Motherboard-Abit NF7-M=$87

CPU-AMD Athlon XP 2800+=$100

Memory-Crucial 512MB PC3200=$44

Hard Drive-Seagate Barracuda 120GB drive=$79

This system will be used for mostly web surfing, with light gaming, hence the use of onboard video. (Yes, I will buy another stick of ram for dual channel before long)

Overall, these parts come to about $415 shipped. This is around the limit of what I want to spend.

Thoughts? 🙂

What's the price on the 2800+? Reason why I ask because the 2500+ is a really good chip and could be found for a few bucks cheaper.

Price is $100. I don't remember seeing any retail 2500 chips on the stores I looked at.

Mobile 2500+

2500+

Haven't bought anything from PCProgress, could check their reseller rating to see if they have anything on them.

And if you don't mind buying used, I'm sure you could find one cheaper on the FS/T forums.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I really don't have a need for 64 bit or pci-express or any of that..mainly I just wanted to be sure there were no issues I didn't know about with those particular pieces of hardware.

CHAINTECH VNF4/Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard
$90
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor
$146
shipping included.

they will work together, but you'd get better perforance for the same price by going with a skt 754 sempron. they also overclock very well

How does the onboard 'S3 Graphics UniChrome 2D/3D' video from the mobo you posted earlier compare to the onboard GF4 MX graphics?
