Building a AMD 64 3200+ rig, need recomendations for parts

Hi, with the release of Doom 3 around the corrner and my old rig being a piece, I am planning to upgrade.

I plan on buying An AMD 64 3200+ with an EPoX "EP-8KDA3J" nForce3-250Gb, based on what I've read around the forums.

Newegg is out of stock on this Mobo however, so I need more recomendations.

I plan on using my existing video and sound cards.(BFG Tech NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600, and soundblaster live! value)

Can anyone recommend memory, I want 1Gb but i dont know what type to buy. maybe 2 x mushkin pc3200?

I also need a new case and PSU, but i dont know how many watts I should get.

My friend said i needed a 500 watt powersupply for this system, is this true?

anyone else have any recomendations?

500w would be overkill imo, unless you plan to upgrade later to a 6800GT...an antec 350w psu would be enough
