Hello, I am about to build 30 identical computers for someone.. And I need to know how to clone the hds (Win XP Home + all Windows Updates + 1 custom application).

I would normally just use ghost or whatever, but now that MS checks your serial number, this makes me worried... I don't want 29 computers telling my user that he is using an illegal version of win xp.. even though I am going to buy 30 OEM licenses.

Any ideas?

thanks

Use Ghost and one of those XP key changer tools before you connect it to the internet.

It really won't take any time at all.

You will have to boot the computers anyways to test them, so include one of those tools in the Ghost image.

ghost is the quickest way, now, if you want to do it for free, just get one machine running and use the hard drive cd to do the next one, then the next, then the next. The utility comes with all hard drives. Easy as pie. Oh, did i mention, free?
