Build Your Own Fog Machine

alright, I've been trying to find some good schematics for a little bit now and the easiest I've found involve using an iron as a heating element inside a computer case with a switch on the case fan to control the rate of the fog... a water/glycerin solution would be dripped on the hot surface

I looking to create some fog or mist that would look cool under lights (you know in major theaters there's just that haze so you can trace the paths of the lights?)

I could buy a professional unit but what fun would that be? lol
