Im lazy and not on top of my tech game.

It needs to be able to do basic things. Run google apps, Word excel, connect to a server to run a few programs. Honestly doesnt need to be that biog. Trying to get it under $350 but $400 at most. want 3 of them need 1. Doesnt need more than a 500 HDD. doesnt need GPU really. But if you think you can add a decent one and keep the price go for it.

Lets see what can be done.

Open to any suggestions. Also has to run Win 7. (we have win 7 already so not included in price) Cant run unix, linux etc

am I forgetting anything?

Pretty much any Dell on their scratch and dent site. We bought some nice HPs for our non-profit a month ago for $400. Once you start getting into the $400 range DIY starts to lose it's luster and advantage.

Agree with you on Win7 :)

im looking at that site. Thats not bad actually. We have a non profit (thats what this is for) I use Tech soup with them If you run a non profit and havent heard of them you should check it out. You get some great donations through them.

I wonder if dell has a non profit program

Truth. Alot of people dont understand that. I will only build a computer for my friend if they are spending $600 or more. You cant beat the big name companies if your building under $600 and dont have the OS gold disc hah. Happy hunting
