I need a new mobo, CPU/HSF, RAM and GPU. No need to upgrade any other components. If you only had a $600 budget and wanted to put together those pieces of hardware with gaming in mind, what are the best options? Let's assume this will all be retail purchases, either online or B&M. If anyone is at work/home with nothing to do right now, feel free to put together the best retail gaming rig possible for $600. And yes, I know a kick-butt GPU can eat up well over half of the budget but the key is to make the system as good as possible for the given amount without a bad bottleneck.
