Don't forget the HSF as the 8700K doesn't come with one.

I would not spend over $600 on a 1080 and $750 for a 1080 ti. Those prices are absurd.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend buying a 1080 currently when the 1070 Ti has nearly identical performance with lower power consumption, runs quieter as a result of less heat and is $100 cheaper than a 1080.

I agree with this. If you are seriously looking at 1080, go 1070Ti and save the cash.
