$364.99

Rosewill R5601-BK 0.8mm SECC Screw-less Dual 120mm Fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
$54.99

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
$79.99

ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W Power Supply - Retail
$109.99

2 x G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit
2 x $84.98

TOTAL: roughly $1100

Its been a while since either of us seriously tracked the latest hardware news so I am sure I could use some help. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Get the eVGA 8800GTS it is significantly cheaper at newegg right now.

Also replace the Enermax for the Corsair 520HX

Change the motherboard to the Gigabyte DS3. Power supply looks good. RAM looks good. If you're overclocking (and it is seriously so easy it is almost a crime not to) you'll need an aftermarket cooler. Perhaps save a few $$$ by getting the E6420 instead of the E6600.

The mb is fine also the evga 8800gts 640 is on sale at newegg w/$30 mir and they have a lifetime warranty. The seagate should be fine. If your friend is going to oc then get a decent hsf with a mounting backplate and install it while the mb is out of the case. If his case has poor air flow get a good hsf anyway just to make sure the cpu stays cool. What about optical drives?

Edited in an attempt to hide my momentary lapse of reading comprehension.

Hell I misread that for some reason in my mind I though he'd picked a rosewill ps, silly me. Yes the enermax, I'm running them duh, is a good unit.
