Build Help - Gaming Rig @1080p

Budget up to $1500
FPS/GTA V/Driving games on plasma TV. Want to play on the highest settings with good FPS.
Watch Blu Rays.
ATX or Micro ATX.
2 HDMI if possible.
5.1 through my receiver (Denon 3313ci) would be great.

Don't need a case, Blu Ray player or hard drives. Also have a very generic 520 watt PSU but I should probably replace that.
Will never overclock.
Won't be doing 4k.

Probably keep it 4-5 years so want to start out with a fast rig.
Thinking X99 mobo, 16 GB RAM, GTX 970. Not sure on CPU.

Any input? TIA

Will never overclock.
Then don't get X99. Fast single-thread performance is important, and I don't expect that to ever go away.

I made this build on the assumption that you'll keep everything but the GPU for 4-5 years:

The 970's no slouch, but they should be coming out with 16/14nm GPUs in a year or two.

The SSD is a tough call. You could go with a cheaper SSD and a faster GPU; but these new M.2 SSDs are three times as fast on the new LGA1151 boards. Mainly affects game load times, though. Pretty much your call if you want to pay that much, or get the 256GB version and another SSD, or just a regular SSD. (Samsung or Crucial being the brands to buy.)
