Hey guys,
Always appreciate everyone's input here. Friend bought parts for a new computer, his first ever, mainly for diablo 3 (hope its good). He was on a 800 dollar budget. This is what he walked away with. I think he did a good job, he went to microcenter for the cpu/mobo combo sales. I tried guiding him best I could:
Case: Antec 300
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 650
CPU: i5 2500k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V LX
RAM: G-Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 1.5volt
GPU: Ati Radeon XFX 2GB 6950 (2 fan model)
HDD Western Digital Blue 500GB Sata 6 7200
Optical Drive: Lite-On SATA Dvd Burner
OS: Windows 7 Home 64-bit OEM
How do you think he did? Only thing I'm wary of is the Hard drive, but prices really shot up since the floods.
