I would like to build a fairly high end gaming machine. I have read quite a bit to get to this point and am just looking for some specific advice. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide:

1. Gaming Machine. Playing World of Warcraft in a Raid Progression, and Rated Arena PVP Environment.

2. $4,000-$4,200

3.U.S.

4. Intel CPU (Core I7)

5. Maybe a hard drive for media.

6. Yes, & they helped me to get to my proposed build. Now I want to ensure that I didn't mess up anything in my interpetation before I spend 4k.

7. No, Default speeds with stability being a huge factor for me.

8. I want to be able to play at 1900x1200 with high detail & eye candy.

9. In the next week or 2.

Parts that I am fairly certian I want:
Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 800D http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811139001
Processor: Intel Core i7-960 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115224
HDD(OS): Intel X25M 160gb SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820167024
(will probably move over a WD Green 2tb drive for storage)

Parts that I am thinking about but really need feedback on:
Mb: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128413
I am open here, but would like to stick with a solid name brand.

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227422
I believe 12gb DDR3 in tripple channel is the best for my budget but I am not sure on brand or speeds if I am not OC'ing.

Vid Card: ??????
2 high end cards in SLI or Crossfire.
I like the ATI 5970's but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. I know I will probably spend a significant part of my budget here but am looking for up to date suggestions.

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341028
Do I need an ultra beefy 1kw+ PSU to run 2 cards or will something smaller from a good brand suffice? I dont want to skimp, but I also dont want to buy into flashy overkill.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I can't give advice of the complete build, but with that budget, you should wait for the new nvidia 100's coming out in a few weeks.

Why would you need 12GB of RAM just for gaming? I'm guessing dual 5970's in CrossFire would be the highest you could go, assuming you can find a power supply with enough wattage to support them.
