pussy, he should make that wall coal powered. #maga.
It's killing two birds with one stone: the coal miners in Appalachia and the Rust Belt get their jerbs back, and we fix the problem of people illegally crossing the border, as they'll die from respiratory diseases due to 'clean coal'.

Does Trump NOT have a science/technology advisor in his staff to tell him NOT to announce a "solar wall"?. 1st of all those expensive panels would be STOLEN, all anyone would need do is unbolt panel, toss in truck, and leave. Person is ALREADY on Mexican property, does Trump expect Mexico to hire security to prevent this?. 2nd is with a non-tracking system your peak power is very limited, and then you need the support logistics to convert the power to AC, (expensive inverters+transformers +power lines for transport to the grid). Thankfully, no useless wall will ever be built as GOP senators/congressman/women seek to distance themselves from the train-wreck of Trump.

He said that during a rally a few weeks ago and his supporters ate it up. I am not making this up

Trump "We're going to build a wall across the entire southern border"
Crowd :"Yes!"
Trump "And mexico is going to pay for it"
Crowd: "Yes!"
Trump: "I just had a great idea. No one has ever thought about this. We'll build it out of solar panels so they won't have to pay as a much"
Crowd: (a bit of bewilderment in the room for a second) "Yes!"

It's actually an ingenious way to stop illegal immigration. Why come to America to get a menial job when I can drive out to the wall, harvest solar panels, and be back for siesta?

In all fairness the wall and a sufficient deadzone would obviously be built on US soil. So basically anyone tampering with the Ra-Wall could then be shot for an assault on the US electrical grid. Hmm...this isn't sounding like a bad idea now...

Trump explains why we need a see through wall because I think he has seen too many Roadrunner cartoons.
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/07/13/trum...o-be-able-to-see-through-his-border-wall.html
"One of the things with the wall is you need transparency. You have to be able to see through it. In other words, if you can't see through that wall — so it could be a steel wall with openings, but you have to have openings because you have to see what's on the other side of the wall.
And I'll give you an example. As horrible as it sounds, when they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side of the wall, you don't see them -- they hit you on the head with 60 pounds of stuff? It's over. As cray as that sounds, you need transparency through that wall. But we have some incredible designs."

Republicans should be forever ashamed they voted for this guy but Republicans have no shame.
We are the movie Idiocracy.

No he's softening the blow to Chucky when he says he's going to build a fence.

I heard Trump earlier say it needs to be strong like metal or steel and we don't need this barrier (notice how he didn't say wall) to cover the entire boarder because natural obstacles block much of it.
*I believe there was already approved fence replacements coming up soon for 733 miles of the boarder
