Hi,
I am thinking of building my own 64-bit desktop.
This is my first attempt at building my own system.
Appreciate if other forum members can guide me in selecting the right MOBO and CPU for the same.

I will be running Unix OS on this machine (Debian, Ubuntu or SUSE).

Thanks,
Mohit

Every up-to-date CPU supports 64-bit, as long as the CPU supports it, the MB is irrelevent.

Yes you can build a 64-bit system in any form, shape, or budge today. I don't think CPU and motherboard will hinder your 64-bit computing experiences.
