I wondered why my can opener and my toaster seemed to be spending so much time together lately. Why, just the other day, I even caught them making out behind the microwave!

It can tell you when someone isn't home, especially with long term monitoring. If the coffee pot gets fired up every day, and a couple days go by without it being used, it might be a good time to visit, and liberate people of their sinful, and materialistic possessions.

This is why the "meta data" argument from the government is bullshit. It's data, period. Tons of information can be derived by scanning packaging details, and it can tell you as much, if not more than the contents.

Yea, I guess that's possible then. So if you leave on all your small appliances all the time, then you can thwart the spys. And the power company will love you long time, just like my frisky can opener and toaster do. And the stories my microwave tells me about them you wouldn't believe.
