High, I was just given the MX700 Mouse/keyboard as an early christmas present from my dad (he's weird and non traditional day specific like that) and have found it extremely buggy for the last half hour I've been using it. I was having trouble renaming things and entering stuff into dialogue boxes in Windows XP. The latest drivers helped out with that, but now the multimedia/itouch keys are all screwed up. Home goes to favories, mute goes to Itouch. I'll keep working on it, but do any of you guys have input/anecdotes concerning the new setup on this l33t set? Did bugs stop occuring after the three required charges to full that is required?

Thanks in advance

P.S. these drivers suck monkey dangles

Where'd you get the drivers? And don't call your dad weird. I'd like to get gifts early, start putting say gift to use already. Plus your dad is 'with it' -I think it's pretty cool that he had the sense to get you an MX700 duo.

*sorry if the above didn't make sense, it's late and I have a headache.

I got the drivers from logitech's website. Has someone else put out better drivers? kept on fooling with it, and the only issues I consistently run into are the switched around Itouch and media hotkeys. The volume wheel works, but the mute looks like it might go to Itouch. The home goes to favorites, the favorites button brings something called media center, etc.

Anyway, I call my dad weird to his face:p. but then he calls me something weird, like a teenybopper (I'm twenty two). We just have a unique relationship, that's all. Eccentric might be a better term, :)

if you have a icon in the notification area open it up, the first tab shown may have a box to type the url for the home button. anyway, not sure if you've had that open and looked around at the settings

no, I've definitely monkeyed around with the itouch software. It's weird, the Itouch button brings up the master volume. the email button is mute, even though i set email to my mozilla account.I guess I'll reinstall the drivers and see what happens.

haha ive had this problem. i reinstalled software, etc etc and couldnt get the multimedia keys to work properly once i noticed they were off. i thought the problem was going from an older Logitech Wireless combo setup to the MX Duo.

but i did get it to work again. i think i pushed Connect on the Receiver. then Connect on the keyboard. also try changing the channel. then try securing the keyboard. tell me how it goes

BTW, the problem is not the drivers. i tried an older set that the combo did work on and had the same problems.
