yup, that car shouldnt be drive at anything but up to and sustaining its fullspeed (then back down of course). Probably takes 2-3 miles to get to full speed, I dunno what its braking distance would be though. Of course, need straight line roads with no bumps lol.

dunno where they got 1.2 million dollars from, thats a relative bargain considering the price in pounds sterling is supposed to be £890,000

so for the dollar, double that.

i suppose its ok if you can afford it, or maybe you are looking to buy, but i suppose if you were buying , bugatti wouldnt mind letting you go for a test drive in a factory car.

secondly the company putting this out for hire are pretty expensive, considering a company like P1 prestige car hire will set you back about £15k for a years membership and for that you can get to drive a huge selection of prestige cars and for decent amounts of time.

20,000 for 50miles is a little stingy in that respect IMO.

not sure if P1 actually have a Veyron though.

theres a dude in the emirates with a pegaso tuned Veyron..... 1200bhp, custom hand built/stitched interior, special one off cream and red paint. beautiful.

yeah it does, TG tested it on VW's glass smooth test track. its a huge oval circuit..... two huge 5 mile long straights joined with two banked corners.

you can see the curvature of the earth if you get down on the ground an look at it.

the brakes at 16inch Carbon Ceramic discs, not sure on the calipers but i expect they are 8 pot or probably more.

its supposed to be able to go from top speed, 253mph to 0 in about 10 seconds.

assuming constant deceleration, thats 11.307 m/s^2, so thats gonna be about 565.35m to stop, half a km! and all the time you'll have about 1.2g's pulling your face off, which although doesnt sound like much, only 0.2 greater than accel due to gravity, it is because its experienced in a direction we dont normally feel g- forces.

my maths is probably wrong here like, just used the SUVAT equations.

v = u + at

S = ut + 1/2at^2
