Bug with Adobe products and saving those files on the network?

Lately, 2 designers all of a sudden are having issues saving photoshop or dreamweaver files to the network. They's get delayed write error messages. I'm trying to figure out why they are having these issues...

They are saving to DFS shares and they've never had any issues with this before, so I think I can rule this out..

Has anyone else run into this problem?

no problems at all...

in fact, if they save the file to the desktop first and then copy it to the network over writting the file, it also works.

or

then can save to a different file name in the same folder and it works.

and no, the file is not read only...

This is a new problem that just came up and I'm wondering if a recent adobe product update messed up the network file saving portion of the programs....

use adobe cs2 and macromedia studio 8 here no problems in the last 6 months....i'd say a drive or a controller is going bad....

nope, the other 100+ network users aren't having the same problems...

just web/graphics designers...

never mind...fixed it by rolling back to last restore point....gotta love xp 😀

it was the software update....nothing to do with the network or slow hard drives....LOL.
