Live out in the country on an acreage. Have approx 2 acres fenced for our back yard. Keep it mowed, fertilized, treated for fleas/ticks/other creepy crawlies.
Came home tonight and let the dog out and as she ran out the door tens of thousands of these things started swarming everywhere. Must have been...shit I dunno...100,000 of them. Eventually they all settled back in the grass, but when I would walk through the yard they would take off and swarm again. Would blacken the sky there were so damned many of them.
