Bug for your enjoyment

I was doing my EE hw when, all of a sudden, a bug landed on my paper. So weird. I captured it in a plastic bag and scanned it for your pleasure. If you know what kind of bug it is, tell me please!

It is actually not that big. About 1 cm^2 in real life.

I used to see a lot of them before I moved to UCD. I lived in southern california. They would stick to the trees in the yard and pass off as leaves. Nothing too special. I used to catch em by their wings and throw em.

Yeah, just caught me by surprise. Didn't seem to be very harmful, but you never know.
