Bug experts: What kind of bug is this?

My camera doesn't take very good close ups but here it is:

It's very small, barely bigger than an ant or something. The second picture is for scale. It's on a tissue. I've been finding these things around the house. What the heck are they?

I don't think so. These guys are brown and about 1/3 the size.

We have something similar, they're very very small. They rarely move. Not sure what they are, they never answer my questions.

If you look carefully, you'll find the babies too--hairy little 'worms.' On second thought, don't look. It's better not to know.
