Buffered vs Unbuffered in MSI K7T Pro2A

I just received my new MSI board this morning along with 128m memory. The problem I have is that while I ordered unbuffered memory, I received buffered (registered) memory (Corsair, if it makes a difference). The motherboard specs call for unbuffered memory. What will happen if I try to run this memory?

Many thanks,
Lee

I personally don't know anything about/have experience w/ that board but most likely the motherboard just won't recognize the Rams and wouldn't post. Some of the older chipset motherbboards don't work w/them but most of the newer motherboard chipsets seems to have support/work fine. (Asus P3V4X does for sure)

Some mobos will not run buffered or registered memory at all. Some can use it OK but the buffer (AKA register) slows down memory access. CAS 2 buffered performs as unbuffered CAS3. Buffered memory is usually used in server applications with very large amounts of memory. The buffer stabilizes memory timings with large amounts of memory.
