Well.....last night I set out to install my new ATI 8500 All in wonder "DV" in place of my Voodoo 3500.....which I can't say enough great things about...even though it's time has come and gone. Expected to see some better graphics and was excited about seeing what kind of difference it would make in counterstrike 3rd person, didn't expect it to be a whole lot better than my GeForce Ultra running on my p4 but was ready to compare. Well, to make a long story short I never got there.....when signing into Counterstrike I would get booted after about a minute and get a buffer overload warning? I downloaded the ATI patch for buffer overruns but it doesn't seem to make a difference???? Help.....Im running in that computer an original Slot Athlon 550 MhZ on a K7M Asus motherboard with 512 mgs of ram....Ideas? i t can do everything else so I'm almost certain this is a counterstrike issue..

weird, I'm able to play it without the fix. But I don't, cause CS is garbage compared to wolfenstein.
