Buffalo Wild Wings Question

Why do people call it "BW3?"

There are only 2 W's. Am I missing something? 😕

Bdubs, and BW3 are completely different restraunts.

there is Buffalo Wild Wings (Wings, Beer, Sports) and BW3 Grille and Pub.

And no..everyone in Milwaukee calls it Bw3 instead of Buffalo Wild Wings..everyone in Tucson just calls it Buffalo Wild Wings.

Everyone around here ( Grand Rapids, MI and East Lansing, MI) call it BW3 or Bdubs. Not sure where the third double-u came from

They are the same place. They just dropped the weck aspect of it.

They used to give a more in depth history on their website but I don't see it anymore. Weck is a type of bread that they used to serve. I don't really know any specifics though.

The number 3 doesn't mean the number of Ws. I thought it did and was like "WTF", and kept asking people why they said "BW3". No one ever knew. I looked it up and found out, but have forgotten.

BW3 originally stood for Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck. Thus the number 3 after the W.

That's what we are trying to tell people that have discovered this "new place" called BW3s. I mean we were drinking beer and hooking up at that place in the early 90s.

the number 3 is indeed the number of Ws.
