Hello,
I read the help files for tomato and review the site but I cannot figure this out...

The setup:
1. 2 x PC's directly connected to a Westell DSL Modem/Router with ethernet cables. Westell is set up as a wireless router also. The PC's do not have wireless cards.
2. Buffalo WHR-G54S with Tomato firmware already installed.

The PC's and Westell are set up upstairs and I want to place the Buffalo downstairs and use it as a signal repeater for the Westell's wireless signal. A few questions:

A. Does that setup make sense? Can Tomato act as a signal repeater?
B. Can I connect to the Buffalo's config (I.E. http://192.168.xx.xx) even though the PC's themselves do not have wireless netword cards? Can I somehow connect to it through the Westell router?

Thank you very much.

I do not think you need a Tomato, or any other vegtable to use the Router as a Repeater.

3rd party firmware is not all around Magic, when you have a good Router you do not need to Flash if the Router can do what you need as is.

To configure the Router as a Repeater you need first to connect it with a cable to a regular computer, log on to the nebus configure and then diconnectd and put it where it needs to be.
