Buffalo RAM

$140 for a GB of RAM is not a very good price... you can usually get single 1GB modules for under $90-100.

Buffalo RAM is fine, just not as 'l337' as some of the other brands. Frankly, anything with a lifetime warranty should work fine. RAM is RAM is RAM, unless you're trying to squeeze out every drop of OCing performance.

I'm just looking for fast, stable and stock performance. No OC'ing involved here. I had 1GB or Corsair Valueselect and everything in Windows XP X64 froze. So I picked up Buffalo. 😀

Cosair is a good brand. It should work without any lockups. Are you sure its the memory which is causing problems?

BUffalo RAM is a good value company, and is a pretty good OCing RAM. Good choice over sum of the other crap out there...

So far COD2 is going great. Everything on max, and no lag. But on CS:S I get around 150FPS on max and every 2 seconds or so my frames jump to 40 for half a second...is this VALVe's problem?

you got ripped off bad. $140 for a 1gb dual channel kit is a joke. if corsair was not an option, i would of went with mushkin. they are relatively the same performance/price compared to corsair.
