buffalo ram.. how does it compare

Those sticks have not been using winbond BH5 chips for the longest time.

I've got a couple of those. They're all CH-5 and run solid with dual channel in NF2 boards at 200/400 11-3-3-2.5. I've had it doing 426mhz on a AN35ultra a few weeks ago at the same timings without any problems.

I have two sticks of their 512MB PC3200 (Samsung chips) in my A64 3000+ system now. It works fine, even OC'd to 220MHz at stock voltage. I haven't tried to tighten the timings or play with voltage yet.

That's true, but you're the first one to mention BH-5 What was discussed was just Winbond, and you can get CH-5 with Buffalo pretty easily. I've gotten mine from TBL Mem. Solid stuff, I haven't pushed it to the extreme yet as the board I've been using mine in is a KT333 board that won't go too high before PCI devices start to crap out (~185-190MHz).

Its just your average tier 2 memory guy - they use the same chips as Mushkin, OCZ, GeiL, Corsair....

I just ordered (2) 512MB PC3200 Buffalo Memory from Newegg. It was recommended very highly by alot of people at amdmb forums.

A poster named Memoryman is a Buffalo Tech over there at amdmb. I asked him alot of questions about their memory, and he was quick to reply and answer all of them.
