I'm using it on my Asus A7N8X Deluxe and it's rock solid and fast. It's running at 200 MHz, 5-3-3-2 and the computer runs Folding@Home 24/7 with no stability problems at all. Great stuff for the money.

Seems quality may vary. I could not get it running with tight timings on an AOpen 845PE board. Even running DDR370 which is below it DDR400 rating, I had to use 2.5-3-3-7. This was 2 x 512 sticks. The mobo did not have Vdimm adjustments, so that may have factored in some. Others seem to have had better luck, so YMMV. I would spend the extra $10 for the PC3700 since it uses Winbond BH5 instead of CH5 which is known to be better ram.

I've already bought the ram(like a month or so ago) .... just wondering if anyone has used it with the a7n8x deluxe and had success.

Newegg has three listings for 512MB 6 Layer PC3200 DDR Memory Module CL 2.5 32X8 (Winbond Module). It's late and I'm probably missing something obvious but what is the difference between the three listings?

I know there is a difference in the winbond chips with the B and C revisions but I don't see how Newegg is really telling you which revision you will get.

Yes, they are all out of stock right now but I'm not in that much of a hurry. Thanks to anyone that can help.

no i do too. most of them mod their boards to run at higher voltages to get those timings. Either way it is better to run at 2.5 and a higher clock rate....

I'm running 2x 512mb Buffalo Modules on an A7N8X Deluxe at 11-2-2-2 @ 200mhz, and 2.75 volts, seems to work fine I have CH-5 chips too, I've gotten it to work stable at 11-3-3-2 @ 229 mhz, and around 2.85 volts (max voltage my board supports by default it overvolts some) , but I had to lower the multipler on my CPU and wasn't really comfortable running my ram w/ voltage that high for a long periods of time, so I just set everything to 11x200 and and played it safe =), still only running an Sk-6+ w/ 50.2cfm fan so I don't think I can push my processor to much farther w/ that kind of cooling, but so far I've been very impressed w/ Buffalo's ram
