I few weeks ago found the bymer worm on my computer.🙁 Now that I have decided to run the real client on my computer, can I use the buff-out.ogr file that the worm created and flush it? It has 15 work units in it.

The out buffers contain the email address used when the workunit was completed. So it will have the email address of the worm. You can get rid of that file it won't help you out in terms of workunits done for your self.

Are you there's no way to change the email? I just found a buff-out.rc5 file with over 200 work units, and I'd hate all those to go to waste 😀

if you flush stubs that have a worms address they will be discarded. And no, there is no way to change the adress when a WU is done. You can load the file in an hex editor and study it, it wont help. I'm afraid you lost cpu cycles to the worm. good thing is that he wont benefit from it. just thrash'em.
