Budweiser Select vs. Miller Light

so last night we had Select and Miller Light...

omg Miller Light is soooo pitiful compared to Select

wow Budwesier Select select is SO much better than most any other domestic beer it isnt funny.

i like strong, bitter beer, but sometimes when you just want something cold and refreshing, i'm sorry, but miller light does the trick.

It's Miller Lite, unless you're one of those old timers that likes to call Miller High Life "Miller," consequently making High Life Light "Miller Light." Lite flies off the shelves at the store I work at (30+ cases a day) and and Select kinda sits there and looks lonely.

When I go out with one of my friends to drink Guinness, when he pops off to the bathroom to take a leak, he always refers to it as "going to go make some Budweiser".

Miller Lite...because it tastes more like water. I generally don't like the taste of beer, and Select is even worse in being akin to bitter water. It's not horrible, but it's not that great, either.

However, it is better than Michelob Ultra. That stuff is pretty darn nasty.

I dont understand why all these people on the boards are such beer snobs and trash any american beer as watered down piss

they are, but sometimes that's what you want.

I've got a 30-pack of Miller Lite in the fridge and another waiting to go in when that one is depleted. when you're a college student, $14-$15 for 30 cans of drinkable beer can't be ignored.

edit: i've done the math and when those 30 packs are on sale, they are cheaper per ounce than kegs.
