my mom owns a business and I was wondering if it would be better for her to buy this for $750 or if I could make her something just as powerful for less. I've only dealt with high end so I don't really know what I'm looking for in a business computer. anyone have suggestions for a cheaper build?

Look in the hot deals section for the $419 Vostro 220 and bump up the OS to Vista business and anything else you want. Think free shipping is $499.
What does the machine need to do? I don't see a need for a business machine to have a quad core.

The only way to judge the need is to make a list of the what, and the way, the computer is used.
