Anyone know where there is a review benckmarking & comparing cards that in clude the ATI Radeon 7200 64mb & the Gainward Golden Sample GF3 Ti200 64mb.

I know its an odd request, i got a friend who has the Radeon 7200 & they need to know how much of a step up in performane a Gainward GF3 Ti200 will be if it replaced the Radeon 7200.

It would be real nice to find a video card shootout with these 2 cards on the list.

So if ya have a link to one, post here, would ya. ;)

Sheesh.
Id settle just for a decent review of either card.

I cant find a decent review of the Gainward Geforce3 Ti/450 64mb Golden Sample anywhere doing a search on google.
(Gainward calls their GF3 Ti200 a GF3 Ti/450 cuz of its OCing capabilities)

And Radeon 7200 64mb reviews are even more scarce.

Surely theres a site with some decent archived reviews of one of these cards.

(actually im sure there are reviews hidden in archives somewhere, just havin no luck finding some decent ones)

The Radeon 7200 is the original Radeon DDR. The Geforce 3 Ti200, especially the Gainward which is an excellent overclocker, absolutely demolishes the Radeon DDR, not even close. For a good budget card try looking for the Radeon 9000 to be had for $66 shipped on pricewatch.

;) The Rad7200 was a fair bit faster than RadeonVE/7000 but not as fast as the Rad7500 (bet you didn't see that one coming). IIRC Rad7200 often o/c to about Rad7500 perf, of course any GF3TI200 o/c to within 10% of GF3TI500 while the Gainward GS TI200 tended to exceed TI500 perf! Rad7500 gives about GF2GTS or GF4MX420 type perf, GF2TI and GF4MX440 are a a fair bit faster while the GF3, Rad8500 and Rad9000 cards are hugely better and more capable with full DX8 in hw. Rad9000 is likely to be about 20% slower than the Rad9000PRO which tends to be a fair bit slower than Rad8500LE which in turn is about 10% slower than Rad8500. Since I'm sure this is all more confusing than helpful on to some reviews:
