Ok Budget is $120 max for MB/CPU/Mem

This are the 2 im compairing unless anyone has a better combo/idea.
Will be used for light gaming and all around use.

1.http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...=Combo.1245723
i have a $10 coupon so that brings it to $119 + shipping.

OR

2.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157332 plus http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157332 And i have a 4G 1333 Mem stick i can get for $20 and that brings it to about $120 + shipping

any better ideas? also which would be better, higher RAM with the combo or Better CPU the latter route?

You should really answer the sticky questions. however, some basic advice: if you already have a GPU (at least a Radeon x7xx or a GTX x50, definitely go with the second CPU/mobo set. Have you considered looking at the FS/FT forum and getting something used? You'll get more power for the money.

For 120 its impossible. How much you gonna pay for an operating system? Maybe go dumster diving.

Maybe try this?

$299

Maybe try a used computer on ebay or something.

Maybe I am wrong?

Directron Super Saver Combo 2: Intel Celeron G540 Sandy Bridge 2.5 GHz LGA1155 Dual-Core Processor, Biostar H61MLV2 Ver. 8.x LGA 1155 Micro ATX Motherboard and 4GB (2x2) DDR3 1333 Memory

Question is will they be happy with this? I dont think this processor is fast enough.

I have everthing else thats why im only asking about cpu motherboard and ram. The combo you linked is going to have way worse game performace then the APU im sure. Also have you seen the FS/FT section? lol people want as much as retail and without feedback such as myself i risk shipping first and someone who has good feedback ripping me off. WHo would belive someone with no feed back versus someone who has very good feedback.

...why would someone with good feedback rip you off? The whole point of having established good feedback is that they are unlikely to rip you off.

And the A4 is definitely weaker than a Celeron in CPU performance. If you already have a GPU, a Pentium or a Celeron is a better choice than an A4.

Unlikely yes but for the same price i would rather take a sure thing wouldnt you?. Also i dont have a GPU that is why i was asking about APU only.

So, just to get this straight: you have $120 to spend on CPU/mobo/RAM (and have a little extra for shipping, if necessary). You already have storage, a case, and a power supply, but no graphics card.

Get the A6 for sure. The A4 is pretty much inadequate in every way for gaming. Overclock the memory and try to bump up the GPU clocks a bit.
