budget... scratch that super cheap rackmount case.

ok i just got a free 2 foot tall rack. im looking for a cheap case to put in it. so far the cheapst ones ive found so far were $100 without psu. i want to try to find one eather a little cheaper or one that comes with a psu. i want to do a budget server this summer. if i cant find one im going to have to mod a old cabletron 3u switch, which i have done before for school. lol

Newegg has some Open-box and new Norco 4U rackmount at $75 and under and a Skyhawk for just a few $s more. Since the Egg seldom has best price on cases, you can probably find for less elsewhere.

I have had luck on craigslist from people who sell the old rackmount gear from their company or the company they work for

ok, ill be asking around. ive see some places that are getting rid of racks but the cases are a lot harder to find.

any way here are some pics of my cabletron switch to server mod. i did have a lot of help but i did most of the work on it.
