i just sort of learned how overclocking cpus work, and realized I need a better motherboard than I had planned, but the value ram should be good. Can anybody recommend me a $~100 mobo that can overclock a 3200+ venice to at least 2.5 ghz?

yeah i took a look at that board too, seems very good. The mobo I was initially planning on buying was a MSI K8N Neo4-F, was that gonna be able to do the overclocking in the first place?

Not sure on that motherboard.

I also don't think you can really guarantee a given result even if you buy at the "right" products.

Check out the Asrock dual (AGP and PCI Express) mobo and the hacked BIOS at OCWorkbench.com.
