Budget Laptop Buying Guide (Updated Frequently)

a guide? you dont suggest buying new cpu's? the 4000 series or intel 10 series is what i would buy, bought a 4700u and 9750 with 2080 recently msi 75 with 144hz 17" lcd that is VERY enjoyable to game on.

the 9750 with 2080 32gb ram 2x1tb 970 evo plus in raid 0, the 4700 with 2060 was 900. the 9750 was 1400+tax used both purchased on ebay for my sons birthday gifts. took me like 2 weeks of searching to pick them out, i kept debating over 2060 or 2060 max or 2070 or 2080 or 2080max or 4800 or 4700 or this or that. finally i saw the 17" with 144hz and 2080 and imagined i would strip the evo plus's out and use them elsewhere but i just left it as is and told him no more allowance for the rest of the year.
 
Pretty poor recommendations but okay whatever. Nobody should get N4000 processor unless the laptop is free. Don't see a single ryzen 3200u or 3500u laptop here.
