Budget IPS Monitor for Web Design?

I'm looking for a new monitor and I think I'll go for the IPS panels. The usage of this monitor is purely for web design (using Photoshop) only.

Can anyone please suggest the best monitor for this usage? My maximum budget is $300.

The Asus PA238Q looks very good and tempting but I have read many bad reviews about it.

Currently these are my list of choices:

1) Asus PA238Q - how bad really is the bleeding?
2) Dell U2212HM - is this better than the U2312HM? Size doesn't matter.
3) Dell U2312HM
4) Viewsonic VP2365WB - many great reviews (both users and experts) about its' color accuracy
5) LG IPS235V
6) LG IPS236V

Those list fall in the price range of $300 below so it won't matter which of them as long as it performs the best for web designing.

I can tell you that I have the Dell U2312HM and its a wonderful screen. The panel is not a true 8bit panel, but 6 bit + rfc, but still produces better colors than my old true 8bit S-IPS Dell 2007WFP.

Just my 2c, can't really say much about the others besides the fact that I didn't get them.

U2412M, seconded. I got this monitor for $279 before Christmas, so you should be able to find it within your budget.

I also own a U2211H, but I really like the colour and aspect ratio of the bigger screen. I was skeptical of the claim that 16:10 is superior to 16:9, but now that I've had the 2412 for a few weeks, I have to agree.

I'm leading now towards U2212HM (very few user reviews 🙁) but still like to hear some inputs.

go with the Dell U2211H
I think the new one is better?
