Budget Intel rig?

Trying to build a budget rig for my parents, currently ive worked out a celeron setup. The goal is under 300. Here are the parts I need and my choices

Case/PSU: APEX Mid Tower w/ 300W $30.00

Mobo: AOPen ATX w/ Onboard video $84.00

CPU: Intel Celeron D Prescott 533MHz $81.00

RAM: OCZ Value Series 512MB PC3200 $38.95

HDD: Maxtor DiamondMax 40GB $43.50

I've decided to shy away from a Dell setup because there are certain things we alreayd had such as a monitor and optical drives.

no reason, i've had more experience with intel hardware. that's why i wanted someone to suggest an similarly priced/performing AMD rig

you can still buy standalone pcs from dell without monitors. the OS itself will cost you about $80 already.

theres still a bunch of stuff i dont really need and if i bring the performance on par to what i have its still more expensive.
